You can gather more troops over on the front left side and prepare for combat there, especially if they wield axes. Move forward with everyone else, especially in the center with Alear.
She’ll likely be targeted by the entire troop from that point, so make sure she’s good to avoid to stay alive. Keep people pushing forward and the enemy will never really have a chance to get through you.įrom the get go, have Ivy go as far forward as she can and start getting into it with an enemy squad. Anyone with high Res can help out, so bring some tome users as opposed to archers. Ivy in particular can tear through whichever side you wish to put her on extremely quickly.
At the farthest forward spaces, you should place some mounted units, particularly fliers. Many of the enemies coming forward at your army are well-armored, so the long-range arrows don’t do much to them anyway. The quickest set-up for this battle is to pretty much ignore the ballista. Considering you can make a dash towards Micaiah pretty quickly, it isn’t much of an issue. As long as you keep the enemy from getting all the way to Alear’s starting position, you’ll be in the clear. There is an extra wrinkle to the defeat conditions this time, but it isn’t something you should really worry about. You also have a fire cannon not far from where Alear begins. There are some in the center, but the ones to the left are lances and to the right have axes. Micaiah stands at the opposite end of the map with a relatively small squadron of soldiers. The battlefield has plenty of ballistae all over the place, most of them facing the enemy for you to use with anyone who can use bows and arrows. You may not have to grind too terribly much in comparison to other Paralogues considering Micaiah is much of a healer than an offensive unit.ĭefeat: Alear is defeated or foes reach area. At the point in the story the mission unlocks, you should have enough Emblem Rings to be in a great position to take it on.
